Cobb EMC has an exciting opportunity for a Benefits Analyst to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and operational efficiency of benefits data and systems. This role specializes in identification of data file requirements gathering, developing/confirming specifications, leading testing efforts, performing quality assurance checks, identification and coordination of data requests with our benefit partners. The analyst will be the primary liaison with IT for programming requests, setup of systematic SFTP or EDI data exchanges and scheduling file extracts within the integrated HRIS system. The analyst will identify, resolve, and prevent data discrepancies with minimal guidance, design and implement quality control checkpoints, and document benefit-related processes, all while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (After training, hybrid schedule 3 days in the office and 2 days remote)

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field required.
Minimum (3) three years’ experience in Benefits analytics or similar role.
Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the HR lifecycle and recognizes the critical importance of maintaining accurate benefits data and adhering to HR laws and policies to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and enhance the overall employee experience.
Minimum (3) three years’ experience building reports, developing workforce analytics, analyzing results, identifying trends, and maintaining real-time dashboards.
Working experience in creating and validating vendor data transfer files.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to apply sound reasoning and logic in the analysis of data, identify opportunities, and suggest effective resolutions.
Ability to learn Cobb EMC’s current HRIS, LMS, Performance Management software.
Ability to maintain accurate reports and records.
Advanced data visualization skills using Power BI.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate in-person, telephone, and email.
Excellent written skills for creating process and reporting specs and documentation.
Exceptional attention to detail and experience designing quality control checkpoints.
Exhibit an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Expert knowledge of Windows operating system, including Microsoft Office 365 suite.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Must be able to clearly communicate with various organizational personnel, vendors, and management.
Proficiency with Excel (advanced formulas, Macros, Power Query), and familiarity with SQL or other data tools.
Solid understanding of benefits data flows, HRIS systems, and compliance regulations (HIPAA, ERISA, ACA).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to identify, investigate, and resolve data anomalies independently.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
PREFERRED:
5+ years of HR/Benefits data administration experience.
Experience designing and executing internal controls and supporting compliance audits.
Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or similar credentials.
Hands-on experience with HRIS (Infor CloudSuite/HR Talent (GHR) and Spreadsheet Designer Query tool.
